What is Global Fingerprints?
Global Fingerprints is a child sponsorship ministry of the Evangelical Free Church of America (of which Spring Lake Church is part of). In addition to meeting needs of vulnerable children, Global Fingerprints helps to strengthen local churches, plant new churches, and connect kids and their families to the local church. Spring Lake Church is excited to be the anchor church for a NEW Global Fingerprints site in South Asia (exact location can’t be shared digitally) launching in Spring of 2024.
What does child sponsorship look like?
Through child sponsorship of $39 per month, individuals, families, and groups can sponsor a child. Sponsorship provides spiritual, nutritional, medical and educational care for children. In addition, sponsors receive occasional updates about the child they are sponsoring and they have the opportunity to send communication to their child.

September 21-27, 2025, Spring Lake Church will be sending a missions team to Lake Charles, Louisiana, to partner with ReachGlobal in their crisis response efforts. We have been sending teams since 2021 to help rebuild homes and minister to the community impacted by hurricanes Laura & Delta.
The focus of this trip will be to help ReachGlobal finish up and close the Lake Charles site. After years of work in this area, ReachGlobal will be focusing on disaster relief in other areas around the US, and they want to close up this site well. We are excited to help them finish well!
